Please note:The articles in my shop are all used and secondhand items which have been lovingly repaired and handpainted by myself using high quality fillers, glues, paints and sealants. Each piece is an indivual artwork in itself . There can be evidence of previous usage still visable. Overusage can lead to damage and it is not recommended to use strong cleaning products on the paintwork.

Description:
This practical storage box has been painted using Miss Pompadour green with black and Bondex gold furniture paint. The wood grain effect was created using a graining tool which can be pulled along the wet paint to create the grain effect. The clocks motive is decoupage fibre paper from Redesign with Prima. I have also reinforced the underside with extra wood panels, added new handles. The hanging decoration has been created using fibre paper, a plastic holder for tape, old jewellery and new tassels.

These handpainted upcycled stools have been lovingly repaired, sanded, primed and painted using a variety of chalk, gloss and acrylic paints. A distressed-look has been created to the legs using chalk paint and then sealed with clear varnish. Famous artworks from Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali and Edvard Munch have been hand painted using acrylic paint and then sealed with multiple layers of clear varnish.

'The Starry Night' Bedside Cabinet

This handpainted upcycled bedside cabinet has been lovingly repaired, sanded, primed and painted using various chalk, gloss and acrylic paints. A distressed-look has been created to the sides in various colours of chalk paint and then finished with 2-3 layers of clear varnish. The top and bottom surfaces have been painted with dark grey gloss paint. Legs have been painted gold and new hardware (handles and piano hinge) have been added. Van Gogh's famous artwork 'The Starry Night' has been hand painted using acrylic paint. The inside of the drawer and cupboard have been lined with coloured paper and then varnished to increase durability.
