Hi again! Here's a little bit about me...

born in the UK with both english and african roots (Malawi), I grew up in north London and worked for many years as a legal assistant. I moved to Freiburg in 2011 after travelling the USA, Australia & New Zealand.  I am happily married and have 2 children.

Creativity has been a big part of my life since a very young age, but only now in my 40's have I found the confidence to pursue it professionally. In 2006 I completed a Certificate in Room Planning & Interior Design and have always felt passionate about creating beautiful living spaces. Whether through upcycling old furniture or creating beautiful wall designs or the challenge of  a themed room. I am a big fan of creating the WOW effect and using colour and creativity to do this.

My influences include everything from modern Street Art to the old classics. I admire the works of painter, poet and and textile designer William Morris, but also more popular artists such as Frida Kahlo and Gustav Klimt. I am also a big fan of 'trash art' and creating art using anything that might otherwise be thrown away. 

The world desperately needs more artists and I would encourage anyone who sees beauty in creativity to draw, paint, create... and don't be afraid to make mistakes! There is always a journey to any finished piece. Many of the famous artists tooks years to create their masterpieces. Never stop learning, and most of all... enjoy the process! :-)
